  Sex bloggers fear for safety after threats and personal details revealed online

   

  Sex bloggers Alvin Tan and Vivien Lee were released on bail after a week in prison, but have to worry for their safety now that a facebook group revealed their personal details online. They also received multiple threats.

  The couple was charged over the display of pornographic imageson their blog and for an offensive posting on facebook. They were sent to separate prisons after claiming trial to three charges, but have been granted bail.

  According to a report on The Star, many have threatened the pair, including a group on facebook which released their personal information like addresses, IC numbers and relatives’ details.

  A picture of the couple with the caption 'KILL -- If you hurt or kill this scum in front of me I will act like I didn’t see' was also circulated online.

  Counsel Chong Joo Tian said that if any threats were made against the pair, they would “lodge a police report and seek police protection”.
