The world’s largest Pacific Bluefin Tuna catch ever just occurred off the coast of New Zealand. Donna Pascoe, 56, is awaiting official certification from the International Game Commission, but this thing is a certified monster! It came in at just over 900 pounds (411.6 kg), twice as much as a baby elephant. This is truly a miraculous catch that is worth an estimated $2 million and could make something like 2,875 tuna fish sandwiches.

The battle to land the tuna on the boat took 4 hours and 11 minutes in all. She used a 60 lb fishing wire.
The fish weighs twice as much as a baby elephant and could fill over 3,000 cans of tuna
Once she receives certification from the International Game Commission, she can claim the world record
The bluefin tina can dive up to 4,000 feet and survive for up to 40 years
