Always wanted to visit some of the world’s most famous landmarks but never had the time? Here’s your chance to see them all in a day - albeit in the form of ice sculptures.
Twenty-eight ice sculptures modelled after famed landmarks such as Paris’ Eiffel Tower, London's Big Ben and Singapore’s very own Raffles Hotel and Merlion, are being showcased at the inaugural 2 Degree Ice Art 2013/2014 exhibition.
Held at a 50,280 square feet thermal-insulated hall at the open field next to the Marina Bay Sands, the six-month exhibition also features a fully-furnished ice bar, where drinks are served in ice mugs, as well as an indoor kids playground made entirely out of ice. There will also be snowfall to complete the winter wonderland experience.
The tallest sculpture, the six-metre tall Eiffel Tower, takes one week and 210 blocks of ice to complete.
