African island's room with an underwater view

The Manta Resort on Pemba Island off Africa's east coast opened its underwater room this month. The sea-level deck allows guests to lounge on the water and offers a clear view of the stars at night. Downstairs, guests have a nearly 360-degree underwater view of the Indian Ocean. There's even a bed if they wish to sleep among coral, squid and other sea creatures.
