Not every bar sticks to the standard formula of advertising their promotions on signs to attract business, some use humour and wit.

When strolling past restaurants and bars, one would glance at the sandwich board signs placed at the entrance to find out what the specials of the day are.

Whether it is to advertise their must-try cocktails or promotion of the week, eateries commonly use these signs to attract business.

However, not everyone sticks to the formula. Judging by these hilarious signs, some bar proprietors have a sense of humour.

One bar "advertised" itself as a husband day care centre. The tongue-in-cheek sign told wives they can leave their husbands at the bar while they go shopping, and payment will only be for food and drinks.
