His 3-D artworks of animals swimming or lying in water are so life-like, it is hard to tell that this is art imitating life.
Mr Cheok Keng Lye, 48, created 12 pieces last year depicting creatures such as an octopus, fish, shrimps and a terrapin.
He uploaded photos of them on arts website DeviantArt last September, and they have gathered more than 600 comments.
His Facebook page, which he set up on Saturday, has already received more than 900 likes.
Many netizens were impressed by Mr Cheok’s life-like artwork and called them “fantastic” and “amazing”.
