No, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. That really is a robot delivering a plate of food in a restaurant (looks to us like squid in black bean sauce) as a family looks on.
The picture was taken at the Robot Restaurant in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, China.
Opened in June 2012, the restaurant has gained fame in using a total of 20 robots, which range in heights of 1.3 to 1.6 metres, to cook meals and deliver dishes.

This robot is the Tom Cruise of the operation - delivering drinks and serving up cocktails at the restaurant.
