If you're looking for some footwear in time for Halloween, then these might be just the thing.
Designers Mariana Fantich and Dominic Young have given the classic lace-up brogue a gruesome makeover, replacing the rubber soles with 1,050 teeth.
And for the squeamish, they emphasise that the pearly whites inlayed into the Savile Row shoes are plastic dentures and not human.
However some have been quick to express their disgust at the bizarre footwear design.
One commentator wrote on Design Boom: 'Aesthetically it is really interesting. But the simple fact of thinking that I have teeth under my feet make me want to throw up! Even if these are fakes!'
The British duo, who work under the name Fantich and Young describe that the low-heeled, black leather brogues 'are predators with no predators' and reside 'at the top of their food chain'.
To make them they modified a standard pair of a size 15 shoes from the British footwear manufacturer, Barker.
As well as white dentures, gold teeth have also been inserted for added effect.
The one-off designs, titled the The Apex Predators, were crafted in 2010 are not for sale.
A Savile Row suit crafted out of human hair, glass eyes, dentures, is included in the art line.
The artists, who have been working together since 2008, say that their work addresses the ‘parallels between social evolution and evolution in the natural world'.
