As athletes from across the globe descend on London for the 2012 Games, one 90-year-old is breaking world records in a shed in Arkansas.
Dr William Bell is the current world record holder for his age group in pole vaulting.
He has also held records in the sport in the age groups 75 to 79, 80 to 84, and 85 to 89
But, as if that was not enough, the nonagenarian recently smashed his own world record after clearing a staggering 7 feet 2 inches (218cm).
In video footage of his impressive feat, a shirtless Dr Bell runs to the bar and clears it with the ease of a much younger man.
But his achievement may come as no surprise as Dr Bell is the father of former Olympic pole vaulter Earl Bell, who won the silver medal in 1984.
As his father completed his jump, Earl Bell cheered and looked on with pride. Dr Bell's four sons have all pole vaulted from a young age.

His youngest son Earl Bell now trains current Olympians such as Jeremy Scott at a centre in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The training program has reportedly produced two-thirds of America's pole vaulters at the London Games.
Dr Bell makes sure he joins the nation's best pole vaulters and trains at the facility three times a week.
