Titanic is probably the most famous accident in the world. On April 15, 1912, the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage and is considered one of the most luxurious ocean carrier ever made. There are 1500 people were killed after the ship hits an iceberg and was in the cold waters. Titanic was made at a cost of 7 million dollars (150 million in today’s dollars).
The Space Shuttle Columbia was the first shuttle’s space on NASA’s orbital fleet. The aircraft was destroyed on the other side of Texas on February 1, 2003. The total cost of round-trip transportation is 2 billion dollars in 1978 or about 6.3 billion dollars on this day. Recorded 500 million dollars spent to finance the inspection, investigation of aircraft accidents are most detrimental in history. Search and recovery of debris 300 million dollars worth. Total cost of accidents (does not include replacement of a round-trip transportation) estimated 13 billion dollars according to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronotika Sciences.

Under insurance's definition, murder is an accident. I got asked this during an insurance talk last time. ie kenna murdered, accident plan will pay off.

That insurers choose to pay under accident plan is their own policy decision that I will not quibble with. But I think it is absurd to say that 9/11 was an accident when it was a murderous act of terrorism. Those radical Islamists purposely (not accidentally!) steered the planes towards the buildings with the intent to destroy life and things.

IF, and that's a big IF, it was an inside job, all the more cannot be considered an accident ya? Or does the word "accident" no longer mean what it means?
