Pants to Poverty Flaunts Giant Underpants for Guinness World Records Day
Pants to poverty crammed nearly 60 people into a giant pair of underpants this morning to celebrate Guinness World Record Day. Clad in little more than underwear and socks, the participants gathered in Canary Wharf in London to break the record for “Most People Gathered in a Single Pair of Pants.” (Really.) But a place in the annals of outlandish one-upmanship wasn’t the fair-trade label’s only purpose. The stunt was also an opportunity to raise awareness about ethical working conditions in the fashion industry.
