Herbert Chavez became sensational when international news media had made news article regarding his interests of becoming like his idol superman. He was considered as the most addicted superfan of the man of steel, Superman.
The 35-year-old pageant trainer started his obsession of doing plastic surgery since the year 2005 to copy the looks of his favorite comic book hero Superman. He had already made numerous alterations not only on his face but on his body as well.
Superman had an iconic cleft so he made an augmentation on his chin. Rhinoplasty procedures had been made already to make him looks like Christopher Reeve and hide his Asian nose features. Silicone had been injected on his lips to make it fuller and thicker. Muscles on his thigh were implanted to look more muscular.
Herbert Chavez lived in Calamba, Laguna in the Philippines wherein he was often called as a hero. He has a lots of Superman memorabilia and his home was surrounded by Superman figures with a theme of the Man of Steel on his entire house.
In an interview of a medical professional the superfan from the Philippines was suspected of having a body dysmorphic disorder. Chavez have been hot topics on the internet with some of the largest news media organization taking time to make articles for him.
