Nestle offers ice-cream treat for lactose-intolerant dogs

Swiss food giant Nestle said Friday that it has a treat in store for dogs keen for an ice-cream to cool down in the summer heat.
Its so-called Frosty Paws ice-cream, are "specially formulated for dogs, who are lactose intolerant and cannot digest dairy products such as regular ice-cream properly," said Nestle in a statement.
However, only American dogs will get to taste these ice-creams, which are only distributed in the United States at the moment.

Awww... no ice cream for dogs in summery Singapore! A lady I met at the supermarket told me she buys lactose-free milk formula for her dogs. Maybe we can make our own ice cream... My late dog used to enjoy lapping up water with ice cubes in it.

my gau gau likes to drink milk ... but if I give her too much full cream milk she'll lau sai all over the yard in the morning and I got to wash her ass too ....
but skimmed milk is fine ..... a bit of frozen popsicle is fine too ....
