  According to European media “the big fish, of 113 kilos, became the biggest fish ever caught in fresh water in Europe.”

  Robert of 32 years old was the Fisherman that after a tremendous struggle with the spool of fishing line that lasted 45 minutes managed to get out from the river Po in northern Italy, the spectacular fish catfish.

  The fisherman had to be helped by other pairs to lift the great fish, which until now is considered a record as the previous catfish caught ever weighed 111 kilograms and was caught by a fisherman on the river Ebro.

  According to the Daily Mail “The fisherman decided to release it and release send it back into the river.”

  Not all catfishes are giants

  Just that is a Wels Catfish which can grow up to 3 metres
