I'm just wondering, to own and drive a car in SG, is undoubtedly highly expensive
I'm curious, is it possible or feasible to buy a car(e.g. toyota, or any car) in malaysia and then drive it back to SG to use? Then wouldn't have to pay COE and road taxes
If not ,why cant or why not feasible?
Please be patient with me! My questions may seem stupid but I'm unsure that's why i ask
Please dont blast at me !
SG gov is not stupid...
1st thing 1st, if you are a Singaporean, you are not allowed to drive malaysia cars in singapore... so case close..
2nd, each malaysia car have to pay S$35/day to enter singapore during weekday... so if u manage to get someone to drive a malaysia car into singapore and then let u use, you will be incurring S$35/day for the vehicle entry permit...
Thanks!
If renting it or using for a week or so is feasible, but owing it for lifetime - may cost you little too much, rather you can buy one in SG only...
interesting
