The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is warning the public of fake ICA websites that are phishing for visitors' visa numbers and passport numbers.
In a public advisory issued on Wednesday (Dec 16), it said that one fake website claims that it could 'track visa' for Singapore.
It said the fake websites were: www.sg-immigov.com,www.icaevisa.com and singaporevisagov.com/tracking-visa/
ICA has made a police report, and said that access to the official ICA website remains unaffected and no data has been compromised.
It is advising the public to exercise caution and to use only the official ICA website at www.ica.gov.sg for all informational and transactional needs concerning ICA matters.
