Girl sent to hospital after two chandeliers fell off Scotts Road restaurant's ceiling
A girl was sent to hospital for treatment after she was injured by two chandeliers which fell off the ceiling of a Scotts Road restaurant on Friday (Nov 1), reported STOMPer Lindy.
The STOMPer also praised the staff for maintaining their cool and professionalism throughout the ordeal.
In her report, Lindy wrote:
"I was having high tea buffet at Carousel when two large chandeliers fell onto the floor from the ceiling, one after the other, within 10 seconds.
"It was very fortunate that no one was seriously hurt though a little girl was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
"The management subsequently took down the remaining four chandeliers for safety reasons.
"The Carousel personnel also maintained their cool and professionalism throughout the whole incident, kudos to them.
"They are investigating the cause of the incident."
