Body found at Bedok Reservoir

SINGAPORE: Another body has been found at Bedok Reservoir.
Police said they received a call at about 6.50am on Sunday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the body of a man floating in the water.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene at around 7.25am.
The man is believed to be in his 30s.
He was clad in a grey t-shirt and bermudas.
Police have classified the case as unnatural death.
This is the eighth reported death in the reservoir since June 2011.
The most recent case was reported in January this year.
Singapore's water agency PUB, has installed signs and improved lighting at Bedok Reservoir, following the spate of deaths there.
The signs show the Samaritans Of Singapore (SOS) helpline information.
Lamps around the reservoir are also now fully lit throughout the night.

I feel so sorry for his family. Life is suffering and some poor soul may find no way out but to end his life so quickly. Bless his soul.

Another one! Poor residents of Bedok reservoir, maybe Workers' party can set up a help-desk at site to cater to people in distress.

i will say a suicide point area , like yellow box smolking area. whose life don;t suck? better investigate to see if the die one is the ownself undoing better - notone to blame but himself before we give our pity - sgrean forever likatht no wonder FT can take advanteg our space our jobs!

last time people jumped at mrt stations. now that mrt has erected the fences at their stations, so they will now jump into reservoir. dun think the whole reservoir will have fences erected to prevent people from committing suicide?

don;t be suprised. thse foreign shit really cause lots of problem in spore. track fence up, hdb got CCTVs, recserovior palces all fence aup, and all these coste we sg have to see in our bills. i hate cheap labors in spore!
