Govt will hear all views, but not all will be taken into a/c

  SINGAPORE: REACH Chairman Dr Amy Khor said the government will hear all views and suggestions, but not all can be taken into account.

  She was speaking on radio about the national conversation on the future of the country.

  She said: "I think that the key really is to close the loop. Not all suggestions can be taken into account, of course. We will hear all views and all suggestions, but as in all things, there will always be trade-offs.
  
  "There has to be balance because there are diverse views but what is important is that we close the loop. So, I think if suggestions are not taken into account, we should explain why they cannot be taken into account."
  
  Singaporeans are also giving their take on the national conversation, online. Some said that it is timely for the country to rally together and define what "Home, Hope and Heart" means. Some have also asked how the government can make the conversation a two-way and collegial one.
  
  Others, however, asked how different this exercise will be from the existing government feedback portal, if government policies have reflected Singaporeans' views, and whether leaders are ready for "hard truths".

  They already have a decision before asking for u view. So if u view is the same with their decision then it will be listen and if not the same, then it will not be taken into account.

  yelor, if you disagree to what they are thinking they will rad yer words and try to use more words to arh-gue back say u this worn tehre wornd - its all words, so can twist and turn around - but listen to them carefully, only going in one loop.
