Man jailed for hurting his prostitute lover

SINGAPORE: A man was sentenced on Monday to four months' jail for hurting his prostitute lover and acting as a lookout for prostitutes.
50-year-old Ng Chye Ming was a lookout for prostitutes soliciting in Geylang in December 2010.
He got to know his 38-year-old lover, Sun Qiuxia, then.
But Ng got mad when Ms Sun wanted to end their affair on March 17, 2011 and grabbed a knife and pointed it to her cheek, thereby hurting her.
He also tapped the knife on Ms Sun's chest, threatening to kill her.
For this, he was jailed two months.
For helping to manage the prostitutes, Ng was given another two months in jail.
