Man jailed for sexually abusing girl on their 1st date

  A young man who molested and sexually abused a 17-year-old girl on their first date was jailed for three years and six months on Thursday.

  Choo Cher Hou, 23, admitted to the two offences and mischief at Block 923 Yishun Central 1 at about midnight on April 24, 2011.

  A district court heard that Choo contacted the victim after getting her number through a mutual friend on April 23. They arranged to meet at McDonald's at Northpoint Shopping Centre at about midnight.

  While sitting outside the fast-food restaurant, Choo suggested that they go somewhere else to talk but she refused.
