SINGAPORE: A 33-year-old man has been arrested for a making a bomb threat through a phone call.
On June 25, 2012 at about 2.10pm, the National Skin Centre received a bomb threat and reported the matter to the Police.
Police managed to
trace the identity of the suspect, and the man was arrested at his
residence in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 later that same day.
Investigations against the suspect are in progress.
If found guilty for making a bomb threat, the man could be fined up to S$50,000, be jailed for up to seven years, or both.

Tong San, said making a bomb threat is a serious offence that causes
disruptions and hampers police response to real emergencies, and warned
that such perpetrators will be tracked down and brought to justice.
