Just met up with a group of professionals who tell me they don't even bother to know what the CNA or newspaper says . The only news they hear is the BBC and also Hongkong and Aussie news. one comented:" they can go take in 25,000 or a 100,000 WHO CARES! You think they even bother what the public thinks? No way !" 25,000 new citizens a year by the next five years 125,000 new voters for their benefit- it is as clear as daylight!" I protested :" No lah it's for thesake of our low birth rate!" She retorted:" And what makes them think these new citizens will reproduce themselves here? Are they fertitlity Gods?"

There is no way we can stop them to take in more foreigners. What we can do is to tell the foreigners how the citizens are treated and let them know that they will become like anyone of us if they convert to citizens.
T the PaPigs, LHL can go die!

If you are a new migrant from Burma or Phillippines it is understandable that Singapore is definitely a better place to be in , wouldn't that be so? Would you rathe rhold a Pinoy passport compared to your red Singapore Passport? -

In my encounters with Burmese and pinoys, only one from Myanmar converted to citizen and he hates the Papigs govt in Singapore. When asked why he accept citizenship he said he cannot stand the govt in Myanmar. He hates the Papigs for selling weapons to Myanmmar govt to kill their own people.
So far the rest of foreigners including pinoys are only interested to earn money here and return to their countries.

Caring people should simple expose the nonsense politicians may say, in the hope that the plebian citizentry is alerted and wise up to all the nonsense sprouted! BUT in reality the ordinary person should simple look out for himself/herself in relation to what is or will be happening in any country-because as one person there is just so much you can do. -

Actually there is some basic fault in their mindset, most of those really talented foreigners that I known of did not want singapore citizenships. They are quite happy with the PR status, anyway if one is smart enough, why convert from a higher caste status to a lower caste status, unless when they convert, they become an elites, if not they will end up being a Lesser Mortals which is lower caste than the FT.

Singapore need to make themself self-sustainable. Cant everything also depend on FT lah. Too many FT will make Singapore go kuku one. Better to solve low birth rate problem first, to produce our own talent. Getting FT is like hiring mercenary to fight in the economic war today, you never know if they decide to pangsei you one day. And the really Talented de FT also will not stay in Singapore for dozens and dozens of years de or become the citizen. They just come here to dig money and go back home after earn enough.
