And the truth is finally revealed, no matter how ugly it is.
It is a question of class, ethnic and power conflict.
I fail to understand your post. Can you elaborate the bolded?

Why Singapore not ang moh country, you want ang moh language to be dominant?
Those who don't want ang moh to be dominant is "frog"?
How many countries in this world english is dominant? They are all frogs?
@ Dalforce 1941: If that’s the case then in your opinion, which language should be main?
This is a sensitive issue. It will touch the political interests of many groups in Singapore.
Harry Lee Kuan Yew will not be pleased at all. He will oppose it until death.
But I think Mandarin and malay should the dominant languages in Singapore since they are the two biggest groups.
The upper levels of the society were occupied by a tripartite elite of high-level civil servants, local managers and professionals employed by foreign-owned multinational corporations, and wealthy Chinese businessmen who served as leaders in the associational world of the Chinese-speaking communities.
The first two categories were marked by fluency in English, university-level education, often in Britain or the United States, and a cosmopolitan outlook reinforced by foreign residence and travel.
Many of the Chinese businessmen were entrepreneurs who operated in an exclusively Chinese setting and often had minimal educational qualifications.

If we may divide the elites of this country into two groups; one group is more westernised, the other group are dialect or mandarin speakers, a shift in dominant language as I proposed above will shift the balance of power to the chinese group.
The head of the western group is Lee Kuan Yew. He won't approve of it at all.
Those who dare to raise this political issue that touches the core of Singapore power politics, he will deal sternly with them.
ang insisted that the "shit-pot cover" must be lifted from parliament to expose the inner goings on.The public for instance should know how much each MP was worth and where and how he or she made their money. He said, with PAP ministers getting such high salaries, what we have in Singapore is "legalised corruption".
Asked about the charges of chauvinism levied against him by the ruling party, Tang said that the basic problem with his candidacy was that he was able to move the Chinese ground. Although he was in social contact with many of the PAP leaders, when he contested in the general elections, they branded him as anti-Christian and a Chinese chauvinist.
This was calculated to push the minorities and the English-educated Christians away from him. More importantly to also cause dissension among the Chinese community. From a public relations point of view, the Chinese community would not want to come out looking like a chauvinist in multi-ethnic Singapore.

Please go IMH.
@ Dalforce 1941: And your idea of levelling the playing field between elites and masses is a shift in language emphasis to race majority? Generations down the road, how do you think this will play out on Singapore’s market based economy?
i think dalforce really have something wrong

You want equal, then I think mandarin is the most equal, most neutral language to use.
It is not the mother tongue of the dialect chinese, malay, indian, peranakans or eurasians.
English favours the small elite group favoured by the british colonialists and sets the majority of Singapore citizens at a disadvantage. They have to operate in an alien ang moh world. That is wrong.
and english is the business language of the world.

I will relegate it to secondary status. But Lee Kuan Yew will oppose it until death.
Since it affects his political interests.
If mandarin becomes dominant, it means for the first time in Singapore, the chinese will become the dominant political class.
And he is not part of that class. He belongs to the older elite group created under british colonialism.

Don't think so. Lee Kuan Yew is part of a bigger class interest. Get rid of Lee Kuan Yew won't solve the problem.

"Bi-cultural" is just another term for bullshit, rojak or bastard or Lee Kuan Yew.
I hope people won't be naive and idiotic enough to go and follow more of PAP's social policies.
Nothing but shit. See also feel like vomiting. Pui. Rubbish all the way.
