SINGAPORE: Rescuers are searching for a person who's missing, following a collision at sea off the waters of Penjuru Terminal on Saturday morning.
The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) said it received a report at about 9.30am that a number of people were sighted in the waters off Penjuru Terminal, in Jurong.
The master of a pleasure craft, SZ11614F, reported that his craft was involved in a collision with an unknown craft.
The MPA said there were 10 Singaporeans onboard the pleasure craft.
One of them is missing.
The
Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it sent two of the
Singaporeans, who are in their 50s, to the National University Hospital.
They had head injuries and were conscious.
Commercial divers are helping in the search.
The
MPA has asked vessels in the vicinity to keep clear of the search and
rescue area and to alert it if they see the missing person.

One dead, one missing in collision of Penjuru Terminal
SINGAPORE: Police said the body of a man in his late-forties has been found, and another is missing after their pleasure craft was involved in a collision off Penjuru Terminal in Jurong on Saturday morning.
Two others are in National University Hospital with head injuries. Both are in a stable condition.
Hadmizan Abdullah is
the only one out of 10 Singaporeans onboard a pleasure craft still
unaccounted for, after a collision off Penjuru Terminal in Jurong.
The 34-year-old father of three is described as a kind and jovial man.
His eldest son is 14-years-old and his two other daughters are still in primary school.
It's understood the group had been out on a fishing trip.
Authorities
received news of the accident around 9.30am and friends and family
started gathering at Jurong Fishery Port as early as noon.
Mr
Sapari Pagi, who is Mr Hadmizan's colleague at Shell Woodlands North
Lubrication Plant for the past nine years, said his colleague went
fishing regularly and last spoke to him on March 30.
"He was
excited about going for this fishing trip. He also tried to ask me to go
along, but I didn't feel like not going for fishing today. There's
always a life-jacket in the boat, but I don't know what happened today,"
said Mr Sapari.
Channel NewsAsia understands that Mr Hamidzan's
wife was at the scene earlier in the day but had to be taken home
because she felt dizzy and unwell.
Mr Hadmizan is the sole bread-winner of his family.
"I'm just praying in my heart. He's like my brother, I just want him to be (okay), said Mr Sapari.
Two Marine Port Authority and one Police Coast Guard craft have been deployed for search and rescue operations.
Commercial divers have also been activated but little is known about how the accident took place.
Authorities say they have expanded the search area and will continue looking through the night.

Search for missing man from pleasure craft collision expands
SINGAPORE: The man who died in a fishing trip tragedy on March 31 has been identified as Mr Husin Mohd Yunos.
The 49-year-old was buried on Sunday.
Mr Husin was one of
ten men who were onboard a pleasure craft which collided with another
boat in the waters off Penjuru Terminal on March 31 morning.
In the meantime, the search continues for Mr Hamidzan Abdullah who went missing after the incident.
The
Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and Police Coast Guard
said they are expanding the search for the 34-year-old, with operations
continuing through the night.
MPA is also asking passing vessels and operators of waterfront properties to keep a look out for the missing person.
There were 10 men onboard the vessel when the incident happened.
Six did not require hospital treatment, two were sent to National University Hospital (NUH) and one pronounced dead.
Of the two who were warded, one has been discharged while the other is in stable condition and under observation.
Investigations by MPA and the Singapore Police Force are on-going.

Body of missing man in boat collision found
SINGAPORE: The body of the missing man in Saturday's boat collision off Penjuru Terminal in Jurong has been found.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said the body was found near Jurong River at 11.16pm on Sunday.
The incident claimed the lives of two and left two injured.
34-year-old
Hadmizan Abdullah was the only one unaccounted for after being thrown
into the sea following a collision between his pleasure craft and
another boat on Saturday morning.
The MPA and the Police Coast
Guard had expanded their search efforts on Sunday, together with a boat
chartered by Mr Hamidzan's family.
Mr Sapari Pagi, a colleague of
Mr Hamidzan's at Woodlands North Lubrication, told Channel NewsAsia
that Hamidzan's body was found by the boat chartered by his family.
Mr Hadmizan had been out on a fishing trip with nine others.
A father of three, he was described as a fishing enthusiast, and a kind and jovial man.
His body will be buried later on Monday.
The other fatality was 49-year-old Husin Mohd Yunos, who was pronounced dead on Saturday.
Two men were also sent to the National University Hospital, and one of them has been discharged.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
