  Some do, but do they care? they are here for a better living. As long as the policies are aschewed to their favour, They don't have to, or bother to think too hard about your feelings. They are here to have a better life. Some are here to get their citizenship and then apply for Canada or the States later, as it is easier with a Singapore passport. And in the meantime they brush up their English here. Emigrants are a hardy lot - they can take the shit as long as they reach their goals at the end of the day. But locals? they can only grumble and be unhappy.
