Diana Goh Li Fun, a Singaporean woman, has been given the life sentence
in Thailand for organising a professional hit on a former Canadian
model.
She is now serving her sentence in Nakhon Si Thammarat prison.
Diana
told the police that ex-model Francis Alex Degioanni, 34, was her
business partner who reportedly borrowed millions of baht from her, then
refused to pay her back as they had no written loan agreement.
She
claimed that because of this, she had to contend with monthly interest
payments of around 100,000 baht (S$4,300 at the time), and Thailand
website Phuketwan.com reported that she borrowed 1.5 million baht
(S$61,500) to hire a hitman to murder Francis.
On Feb 19 2009,
the victim's 34th birthday, he was going to meet his friends who had
prepared a surprise birthday party for him.
Two men shot him eight times while he was sitting inside his own car in front of his home office before fleeing on a motorcycle.
Diana and five other people were arrested, and the two gunmen were identified as Somchai Mingjaiyen and Suwan Simet.
Sumon Sumen, Diana's friend, was arrested for helping to plan the murder and putting the money for the gunmen in a bank account.
Eakapon
Lakrod, Sumon's friend, helped in the planning by observing the
victim's behaviour, as well as deciding on the place of execution.
Netnapa Witayatamsopon, another of Diana's friends, was also accused of planning the murder and of finding the gunmen.
Phuketwan.com
reported that Goh and four accomplices were sentenced on Dec 29, and a
sixth case against an alleged accomplice is still pending.

Professional hitmen never give their client details away.
Professional hitmen don't work in duos, they work independently.
Professional hitmen don't need 8 bullets to make a hit (discretion upon client).
Professional hitmen don't get caught, and if they do, they have to take themselves out.
Professional hitmen don't charge so low a price, S$61K? WTF?
Client should only pay 50% on deposit, and the remainder upon confirmed kill, but maybe that 61K was deposit, we don't know that.

She should have made sure she had legal contract/agreements drawn up if she was lending the man such a large sum of money. Trust? trust is cheap! So chances are that she may be emotional invovled with the model , to lend him that much without any legal papers or collateral. And the scumbag, took advantage of the situation . She gets life sentance but what about the hit men? Maybe she should ask Thai King for pardon on his next birthday.
that's what i thought too.
