Man arrested for molesting woman

  SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 57-year-old man for molesting a 25-year-old woman in an MRT train.

  On March 6, the victim reported to the police that she had been molested in a train at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station on Monday.

  Officers from Central Police Division made extensive enquiries and immediate follow-up investigations, and were able to establish the identity of the suspect.

  They subsequently arrested him at Whampoa West on Friday.
  
  Investigation against the suspect is ongoing.
  
  If convicted for molest, the man could be jailed up to two years, fined and caned.
