'Girl' asks guys to strip on webcam, then blackmails them

A girl is apparently blackmailing guys on facebook. She would ask them to strip on webcam and then demand a payment of $500 for the photos not to be posted online.
It is unclear if the culprit is a man posing as a girl online.
STOMPer V, who came across the girl's postings, said:
"These pictures are a compilation made on facebook by a user who says that the girl is blackmailing guys on facebook. Facebook Blackmail?
"The girl is demanding $500 SGD from the guy as payment for not posting his naked photo on Stomp.
"It seems the guy pays, up, as from the wall posts you can see he asks for her bank account number.
"From his wall you can see that he says it's edited, but who are you kidding? It's definitely not edited. Clear as daylight.
"The girl is a member of a group, where she invites guys to webcam/skype with her.
"She says her own webcam is down, but she will chat with you. It's obvious she's lying, and she blackmails guys once they strip for her.
"I doubt it's a she as well. GUYS, be warned, I know some of you damn desperate for girls, but in the virtual world anyone can be a liar.
"Watch out for what you do on camera. Unfortunately for this guy, his private parts are all over the Internet already.
"I'm just putting the pieces together to warn everyone else.
"Your friendly facebook detective. Looks like it's real."

In America - there is this guy blackmailer on facebook pretending to be a chick. HE then seduce under age boys to expose themselves on webcam. Once he got their pictures - he threaten to upload them in exchange for .....

In the end - the American guy got caught when he request to have sex with the brother of one of his underage victims. When they reported ot police - the american was caught.

In this age of pornographic abundance and how easily copy&paste is, I don't think it's worth falling for such threats. Even if you paid once, what are the chances you won't have to pay again?
