STOMPer 12 saw a girl scolding her mother 'bitch' publicly on Facebook -- just because her mother did not give her a Christmas present as promised.
Wrote the STOMPer:
"She called her mother 'bitch' because of a Christmas present.
"Christmas is supposed to be a happy occasion, that involves us singing Christmas carols and receiving presents.
"But a 12-year-old girl called her mother a bitch when her mother did not give her a Christmas present as promised.
"Somehow the girl still dared to post this on Facebook openly." -

I think for children, promises are very important... as adults, when you promised something, the children will remember very well, that's why if cannot deliver, you must never promise...
however for adults, dun say promise lah, even if wedding whatever promises made also lightly taken, so many cheating adults outside...
so from my point of view, it's more of a different perception of promises... for children it means everything... for some adults, it means nothing.
