You asking me?
I quite shocked 45% earnings come from rentals.
But that is what the newspaper reported.
If so much of profits come from rentals, no wonder they don't care so much about commuters anymore.
technically that restriction applies heavily to financial institutions
i dont see any other industries only doing their core business

Delifrance only expanded their menu what.
Food is still their core business.
By the way, notice that there aren't too many Delifrance outlets around now.

Since they changed their menu, many shops seem to have closed down.
since the CEO was from DFS, she turned SMRT into retail outles and eateries, to bring more income to the bottom line. so whats next? next CEO from F&B background, turn SMRT into eateries and restaurants instead
who knows the wedding banquet can be held in SMRT one day instead of 5 star hotel

Interesting idea.
In Singapore, you can do anything if you have money and connection.
Just closed off one section of the MRT and you can do a light function.
There will not be another CEO cos she is not guilty about anything.
Everything is sound and they just have to put a SOP in place for the maintenance.
Cased Closed.

I quite liked their sandwiches long time ago.
They had nice sandwiches, unfortunately they didn't have the most efficient, and cost effective way of running nor maintaining them. Then subway came in and showed them whose boss, they took a step back and sayonara.

You may be right.
Maybe that was why they decided on going restaurant instead of cafe.
