Condo security guard charged with molesting resident

  He was the condominium security guard and the Japanese woman he is alleged to have assaulted sexually was a resident there.

  On Thursday, R. Singaraja, 61, was committed for trial over the incident, in which he is said to have hugged the 32-year-old kindergarten teacher and touched her inappropriately.

  Currently on police bail, he will face trial, which has been fixed for three days from Jan 4 next year.

  The incident allegedly took place at the woman's flat in Kentish Green condo in Oxford Road at about 7.40pm on Feb 10, about 40 minutes after she had returned home.
