Hotel guests taking a dip at the world's highest outdoor pool will now be spared having visitors lingering there and gawking at them.
Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resort will provide optional guided tours for non-hotel guests that include just a brief stop at the pool atop its 57th-storey SkyPark.
From Monday, there will be three such tours daily, with 50 people on each 15-minute tour. Up to 2,750 people visit the SkyPark's observation deck daily. The entry fee is $20 for an adult. Those who do not sign up for the free tours will not get to see the 150m swimming pool.
Visitors can sign up for the tours - held at 11am, 2pm and 8pm daily - at the ticket counter. Until now, non-hotel guests who pay to go up to the SkyPark can - on weekdays - linger at a portion of the pool. But hotel guests had complained of the crowds and a lack of privacy.
