Woman in intensive care after liposuction

  A diabetic woman has spent at least three days in intensive care, after emergency surgery to remove part of her intestines damaged in a liposuction procedure that apparently went wrong.

  The 60-year-old is now believed to be on the mend.

  The Straits Times understands that she underwent the fat-removal procedure on her abdomen last Friday at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), but still felt pain in the operation site two days later.

  Sources said a scan on Sunday showed traumatic injury to her intestines.

  Poor lady but you know, at 60 year of age and having diabetes, I hope the reason she needs liposuction is for medical and not cosmetic purposes.

  sometimes i feel sorry for those who feel inadequate about themselves... when i was young, got classmates made fun of me say i am short and ugly etc won't find a girlfriend etc... but lucky i survived, turns out i not ugly and have many gfs but when i was young, i believe whatever things others said, turns out they dun have to be true. anyway now i realize for guys, looks not so important... if u are successful in career, you can have all the girls.
