Goh Chok Tong to receive award from Japanese emperor

  SINGAPORE: Singapore's Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will be visiting Tokyo next week to receive the Grand Cordon of the Order of Rising Sun award from the Japanese Emperor.

  Writing in the MParader Facebook page, Mr Goh said the award is being given to him for his contributions in strengthening bilateral ties between Singapore and Japan.

  Mr Goh said that while in Tokyo, he will also meet some Japanese leaders and businessmen.

  wow.....goh got emperor of japan awards n medal for doing the stik yer left foot in n right foot out dance and shaking his booties when he took over as PM??!!!!think lao lee must be feeling damn sore now.
