A SUSPECT has been arrested in connection with an attack in which a man surfered multiple slash wounds.
The 53-year-old suspect was taken into custody at about 8.30pm on Tuesday.
He is being held on suspicion of causing grievous hurt using a dangerous weapon.
The bloody traces was described in the media as a turf war between rival cigarette sellers.
It took place at Block 131, Marsiling Rise, last Wednesday.
The victim, aged 51, is believed to be a resident of a nearby flat.
He was warded at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is said to be recovering.
If convicted, the suspect faces a maximum penalty of life in jail, plus a fine and caning.
