In the end, their "social" arrangement ended in a brawl, after which the man was hospitalised, the woman was injured, and an ambulance had to be called to the scene.
The pair are disputing each other's version of events. The escort, Ms Di Di, claimed she flew here last week, spent two nights in a hotel with the Singaporean man, who only wanted to be known as Mr Yew, before he disappeared without paying her.
Mr Yew, however, claimed that Ms Di Di was trying to extort money from him.

A Hong Kong-based woman, Ms Di Di, 36, recently found that out, when she agreed to be an overseas social escort to a Singaporean here who alleged promised to pay her 200,000 yuan ($38,000) for three days of her service in Singapore.
But the man disappeared after they had sex without paying her, she claimed. Worse, the two got into a scuffle and Ms Di Di hurt herself.
Social escorts The New Paper on Sunday spoke to related stories of those in the industry who had been badly abused by clients. But most say the money is too good - one recounted how she took home a $3,888 red packet on top of the negotiated $12,000 for a five-day trip to Germany with a Singaporean businessman.
