When I was in Sec 2, there was a day when a classmate of mine started making quite a nuisance of himself. The teacher in class then was one who was known to be rather gentle and kind. He asked the boy to stop repeatedly, but the boy did not and started challenging and taunting the teacher. Suddenly, the teacher swung out and gave the boy a hard slap across his cheek. Everyone was shocked, but knew the boy deserved it. The teacher could have gotten into quite a bit of trouble, but the incident never left the classroom.
This case however, is of a student punching (not slapping) a teacher. In all probability, there won't be much of 'the other side of the story'. Besides, should there be 'the other side', his classmates would most likely have posted something online already. Students today are 'outspoken' and 'tech-savvy', and would not leave it as it is unless they know there classmate to be fully at fault like my class did in Sec 2.
20% strength.
lol.
He press the spacebar for too long and overshot the powerbar isit?
its all parents faults that students have deteriorated to such.
it is not wrong for teachers to punish student (not slap though). but it is definitely wrong for a student to hit a teacher.
but then nowaways teachers are powerless coz parents are overprotective.
