Female journalist found dead at home

A 23-year-old fashion writer was found dead in the toilet of her family's Opera Estate home last Saturday evening.
Tiffany Ong Shu Ting, a writer for Her World magazine, was found naked near the toilet bowl by her mother, Juliet Yew Bee Bee, who felt something was amiss when Ong did not come out of the bathroom for some time.
It is believed that Ong had slipped and fell. There were no bruises on her body.
The police were called in around 8:40pm and Ong was pronounced dead by paramedics half an hour later.
A former national swimmer, Ong was said to have been healthy and sporty, reported Lianhe Wanbao.
An outpouring of grief has begun online from friends and colleagues, one of whom said that Ong, who wrote for female-oriented websites such as SheShops.com and Her World, was a "natural writer".
Speaking to my paper, Niki Bruce, online editor for Her World, said, "It's such a shame. She had such a bright career ahead of her."
The police have classified the case as an unnatural death and are investigating.
