A horse named Boomz

  Ms Low, with Boomz the racehorse, says she likes horses and she rode when she was young. She was invited by the owners of the stallion to be present for his first race on April 10 in Kranji.

   

  ONE-TIME beauty queen Ris Low has another accomplishment: getting a horse named 'Boomz', after a term she coined.

  The $250,000 horse is owned by a group of friends, all men in their fifties and from various professions. They decided to name it Boomz as they wanted a fun name for it.

  Oh well... many racehorses have stupid names anyway... I guess naming horsey "Boomz" actually constitutes kindness towards the hapless creature.
