STOMPer Esabella spotted this Ferrari on fire along Stamford Road at about 12pm today (April 28).
Said the STOMPer:
"A Ferrari caught fire at Stamford Road, with a minor explosion."
Other STOMPers who witnessed the incident were quick to send in photos to STOMP.
STOMPer Peter said:
"A Ferrari caught fire in front of Stamford Court.
"I heard that the driver is safe, but the car is fully burnt."
STOMPers kishore and winnie even sent in aerial photos of the car on fire.
Kishore said:
"I received this picture about an hour ago. A Ferrari caught fire near Chijmes.
"A young male driver was spotted fleeing the vehicle. What a pity to see such a beauty burning."
STOMP checked with the SCDF and it confirms that a Ferrari had caught fire near the junction of Stamford Road and Victoria Street.
SCDF says it received a call about the fire at 11.56am.
It deployed one fire engine and one red rhino to the scene.
The fire was put out using a water jet.
The SCDF says no one was injured in the incident.
This is just one of the many recent reports STOMP received about cars on fire.

better get a fire extinguisher for all those who own a car. maybe the government go legislate that all car and bike owners need to stock up a fire extinguisher in their cars and bikes.
but actually such a big fire, fire extinguisher not enough, need to install fire hoses at regular interval at roads
