You think too hard. There are many people who are singled-parents, or no parents. My neighbour downstairs has no father. And he is brought up by his grandmother.
They are also people who have parents but both of them are working really hard. At the end, it is equal to no parents at all.

So what are you trying to do by downsizing a fatherless person who wants to have friends but most likely all the friends he has are like not really his friends and he is trying to find a true friend somewhere, until a person who is homophobic and looking down on people whose life is consided by the person as not normal that prevents any chances of him trying to get a life that is right for him.
You are most likely jealous that he is getting attention.
