I'm very pissed. Me and my friend were sitting at a public place on the ground smoking somewhere in the east. We finished our ciggs when 2 insurance agents came to us. They talked to us for 10 mins. In the process we put the cigg butts on the ground la. C'mon have you seen people hold dead cigg butts for 10 mins? We forget abt it obviously. After the agents finished we got up, walked one step, then two NEA officers came, both ugly f*cks, and fined us. $300 each. WTF. Bad luck sia. We poly students some more both not working. Die. No chance. And we only took one step. I feel they should have the liberty to tell us to pick the cigg butts up if we're less than 2 steps away from the place, and maybe give us a written warning, not slap us $300 fines after one step from our 'crime'. CB. So evil.

Dun worry you are not alone, i got it when i was in secondary school... Worst i was underage and they wrote a letter to HSA... lol double damage ^^

TS, next time happen again, just play punk with them.
You can do a few thing:
1) Walk away despite them asking for your NRIC
2) Say u didnt bring and see what can they do to you
3) Ask them to show u their ID card, then u call back NEA to verify their names, then u repeat step 1 or 2.
I have a friend who did option 1 and nothing happen to him. The NEA officer jus LanLan.

Why can't insurance agents talk to poly students for 10 mins? I can think of so many reasons why insurance agents would want to talk to poly students for 10 minutes.
