Handphones in school

should handphones actually be allowed in school? do u guys think the rule is dumb?
btw for j1s... the rule is that hps are not allowed to be used IN SCHOOL DURING SCHOOL HOURS
that means even after school u have to be out of school.....
and i know all of us actually dun give 2 hoots abt the rule... but still voice your opinions on this stupid rule and other stupid rules -

That's not what the rules says...the rule is that you CANNOT USE THE DAMN PHONE IN THE SCHOOL...that's why i got chased out of the school remember!!! (but i was on my way out oso lar...juz that i was using the phone)
You urself have a handphone... you even put it on your desk during class... and here you are asking if ppl think that handphones should be allowed!!!

well in my opinion, the rules were put such, bcos that UFO (unidentified fat object)
not happi wif seeing the prosperous side of students n us using our hps abt...
so wham! the rule came out n tt Discipline guy of cos gotta enforce the rule wad to do>? the head demands so..
face it ppl the onli way n day tt stupid rules like these are taken off... are wen tt weirdo of a principal we haf is fired...
however, we students are also to blame as we abuse the freedom at times, excusing ourselves during lessons jus to answer a msg, or call, using the fones during lectures (but then again the damn lectures are boring)
so i guess its a paradox of events?

anyway, i think i'll die if cjcians werent allowed handphones in sch...and i think it's quite stupid why they dun allow it.....as long as it dusnt ring to the tune "Jingle Bells" or something....
aiyah, as long as it dusnt disrupts the class as a whole i see NOthing wrong with placing the phone on the table.
P.S someone shld teach TKH how to use his new handphone.....fm wat i noe he dusnt noe howta end the call for a 8210(damz & I experienced it)....

Neway... i think he is copiong quite well with his new phone. He even noes how to use the chinese component. As in he tried to msg me in Chinese... but cos he singtel... then i M1... so it din get thru.
Dun look down on him K!!!!
And he is using a not so user friendly phone somemore!!! -
well...all i knoe is that i almost sent him a nice little hokkien reply....wasted that i never sent it but i think i might just die if i were just to do so

Bringing handphones is not an issue, it's being considerate when using the handphones that's the main problem we seem to have.
You don't have to turn up the volume to ultimate levels just to ensure the person sitting next to you knows you have a handphone when it rings! -
Use of handphone - Students want to be caught using the handphone! Cant they use it discreetly - no they dont want! They want to get caught to test the system.
Gambling in class - students want to test the system.
Kicking soccer balls everywhere - leave marks on the walls. Whoose fault?
Can anyone confirm that after 10 years in primary and secondary school, they still need teachers to act like policemen?
