Don't we just all love office politics . They make or break us in life. There is always some idiot talking behind your back to the boss. Some of your colleagues might remind you of smiling assassins who stab you from behind, laughing hyenas or the proverbial vulture waiting to take a piece of your sorry carcass.
Not to mention the bureaucratic red tape which hangs our efficiency to dry under work policies. Someone wants you to go against policies? An immediate superior trying to make you do something unethical at the risk of your job?
Or worse, you swear you are managing a bunch of monkeys. Get yourself a cup of coffee or tea . Come share the
joys and pain of work life in the vast jungle of work politics .
Pai seh ...didn't see Gordonator's forum
office.sgforums.comAnyways ...just an open forum for strategic tactics used or to be tested in the world of office politics or life in general

.
I like Machiavellian principles because of the principles in The Prince. It can act as a two edged sword but it can also act as tactic to overcome a rival.
Keeping in mind , there are many strategies out there that is also good for using like Sun Tzi or Zhuge Liang's strategems.
