Want the best Kung Fu, go to Shaolin Monastery

No chance lor. If they had travelled overseas and try to establish their own martial art school there like what Bruce Lee did than there will be many other opponents who will challenge them

you think foreigners damn good meh lol. or you are thinking of the wrestler from huo yuan jia movie lol. he is a real life wrestler though.

Depend on which Chinese kungfu…. actually really not very used.
I think for
attack : Muay Thai is fastest and powerful
defense: Aikido and Taiji
when the person is already down on the floor: BJJ
for more than one person, Aikido will be good.
Think you seen too much modern wushu... if you can find a traditional art and learn it, you will see how much it differs from modern day wushu.

cos they not after fame and hao lian. they just want to practise their craft quietly, not like some.
From my experience with fighting with one of my close buddy who learnt TKD and is a brown belt holder, they throw many nice kicks but the time needed for them to recoup is long, especially that Axe kick, I hate it.

No I don't think they are good. lol
But I don't think Ip Man and Huang Feihong is good too cos their skills are like not tested against other opponents
bruce lee wanted to promote chinese Kung Fu to the whole world.

Actually Bruce Lee said before too that modern wushu have too many unecessary movement which is why he created Jeet Kund Do
I remember this question was posed to one of the student in the anime Kenichi (martial-arts type).
If memory serve me well, the question was:
Q: Among the masters in this dojo, which is the best martial arts in the world?
A: Whichever martial art that dominates and survives in today's context is the best.
I wondered if that made any sense at all...perhaps it did...

That has no link at all...
Why should someone starting a school to promote an art challenge someone else ?

yes good and nice to watch and see, but in real life fight, have no place in it. wushu also got san da, which is like TKD or thai boxing. san da is unlike the traditional wushu movements.

When Bruce Lee started his martial art school in America, many other martial arts experts were not happy and issue challanges to him and Bruce defeated all of them and that indirectly helped him to become popular and famous

In other words, a marketing technique ?

That would be logical.
It's the same as doing business. If I open a shop beside you and offer the same services as you, you will definitely try and challenge me. While we will not be fighting physically, we are seeing who could come up with a more competitive price, be more creative, offer better services, etc.

well, who to pass on our skills and knowledge to ?

Actually it make no point. When you do marital art up a certain level, your movement and skills is not restricted by what you have learnt in your younger days, ultimately you will create your own style of fighting.
Yes, I heard of that, the free-style, well for me, i rather focus on 1 martial art and worked out ways on it's weakness.

My preferences would be to pass to someone who knows how to apply it well and has a good heart.

Yes the most inspirating words from a Great Grandmaster.
Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.
