Bcos the other requirement in Tai Chi is qi. If one is weak in it, one can never as proficient in it Tai Chi as a person whose qi is very strong.
Using weapon against 1 is too ah gua le. Unless you are against 2 or more. Yes,I would say taekwando is the best self defense martial art. =)

not really leh. i learnt tai chi, no need chi one. it's all about footwork. stability, and softness.
there's no need to meditate or whatever. just hv to relax, and don't resist and just go with the flow to redirect the force of the enemy

haha issit. i heard taekwando not v good leh. not v practical, and if u're new at it, you usually leave urself very open to attack.
my friend said the only practical move is the leg sweep. once u trip opponent, run away.

Depends on who you fighting with, otherwise a front TKD kick to the groin works every time for a disengagement tactic.

You can always try redirecting a qi master's punch and you may find yourself trying to defend against a 180 degree radius of qi.

TKD i know they quite famous for the spinning back kick.

haha. nv try b4. won't ever be trying too
i want to learn wing chun though.. advisable?
muay thai is good for self defense..and u can learn those basic lock or holds from brazilian jujitsu if u want to, but its not that useful in actual fights.
graplling is only good for 1v1, but how often are u in a 1v1 situation outside?
Originally posted by Zeroterri911:Muaythai is a martial fight that you need to be bearable enough to accept it. I heard from my friend that per course are quite expensive and the training are very harsh
It is more of a sport what. // And please answer my question: How can I start learning krav maga?

Wing Chun is famous for its straight line hits and speed, just forgot about ground grapples.

The trick to defend against that one move is Shaolin's Iron Curtain Skill. Real shocker to people who never see that move coming and end up with a leg fracture.

Luckily the Japanese know how to count, if their maths failed and sent 11 men to fight.....
Then no more show to sing already......
