Learn martial arts can fight or not?

Sometimes people or parents will chide their children,,,aiyah spent money and time learning karate, taekwondo ...can really fight or not
And the child will look at the parent"HUH"...
So can fight or not?? -
When the time comes, we'll know.

No.
Most martial artists in Singapore aren't fighters. They keep getting beaten up by ah bengs for some reason. -
take a few lessons from Bas Ruten lah...street fighting is where its at

krav maga......probably get u out of a tight situation...highly aggressive....
but the best martial arts to learn is 2
one for grappling...
one for kicking... -
martial arts good 4 fighting but not good 4 self-defence cus most street fights ppl fight like cavemen. no grace n no finesse.

yes u can use it for self defence, if fights are 1v1 and without weapons but seldom thats the case.
but martial arts also builds up ur confidence to stand up to people not ur boss obviously but ppl tyring to stir trouble with u. -
