No. This bagua tool serves as an imaginary tool. You have that in your mind, and move in the shape of the bagua.Originally posted by Short Ninja:So what do I do with this Bagua thing.Do I throw it like a boomerang or wear it around my neck as body armour?
It's a concept. Bagua practitioners don't carry that mirror everywhere.Originally posted by Short Ninja:So how can a magical mirror help in martial arts and training. Thanks for answering my questions.I am sorry if I might sound rude sometimes but that is just the way I type ,in person I dont talk that way or behave in this manner. This is just a forum so I want to feel to exercsie whatever comes to mind.

Got problem, immediately call number....
....Originally posted by Short Ninja:So its more like a Talisman that protects and gives a person psychological strengh.I've never heard of Bagua until you guys mentioned about it.As for the subject of Gangfight. Bengs are usually cowards and would attack in numbers so if someone challenges you to a fight but at a later time you better not be foolish enough to participate or be anywhere near that place

I saw one time on TV where this old woman who is a grandmaster/Grandmother of Taiji and she moves very quickly like someone getting getting to pack up and run from a Tsunami like that. All I could say was Simi Taiji? .Yes I also know nuts about taiji and so I cant be too critical on this subject.Originally posted by eagle:Nice joke
Ba Gua is more of a concept. It is just like the 5 elements, or even taiji; they are concepts.
Most people would know this
taiji -> liang yi -> si xiang -> bagua
Taiji's concept lies mainly in circles. In physics, it makes use of Newton's law of motion. You don't really block a punch with 100% force. Instead, you give it a small force away from the line of attack, and the punch eventually misses you. There are of course more complicated concepts involved, but I don't know much about those.
Of course, I'm just interested in the theory behind it; I don't have the time to practice anything. So can treat me as just bullsh!ting
when pple practice taiji, it is supposed to be slow. Concentration of perfection is requiredOriginally posted by Short Ninja:I saw one time on TV where this old woman who is a grandmaster/Grandmother of Taiji and she moves very quickly like someone getting getting to pack up and run from a Tsunami like that. All I could say was Simi Taiji? .Yes I also know nuts about taiji and so I cant be too critical on this subject.
It's a misconception that Tai Ji is slow...Originally posted by Short Ninja:I saw one time on TV where this old woman who is a grandmaster/Grandmother of Taiji and she moves very quickly like someone getting getting to pack up and run from a Tsunami like that. All I could say was Simi Taiji? .Yes I also know nuts about taiji and so I cant be too critical on this subject.
if you've watched naruto, its like neji and rock lee.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:It's a misconception that Tai Ji is slow...
It's slow because it's an internal art. Internal arts place emphasis on the relax mind and body to attack. External arts focus on brute force.
