In camp, his friend was being punished by his superior for his mistakes. His superior order him to find a tree, and talk to it, in the hopes of him will realise his mistake.
The recruit found one, and acted like he was having a conversation with it like a pro actor. He then nodded, and return to his superior.
The superior asked: "What did the tree tell you?"
The recruit answered: "Sir, the tree want to talk to you, Sir!"
He got guard duty for this.
(This is a true story lol.)
